Allan Zreik, has been a member of the Hurstville Chamber of Commerce since 2012, Mr Zreik has been appointed as the new President of the Hurstville Chamber of Commerce, Mr Zreik said “I am very proud to be leading the Hurstville Chamber of Commerce throughout 2015, the Hurstville Chamber of Commerce has a long and proud history since it’s inception in 1920, I’m committed to getting results for members and small businesses throughout our great area, they are the back bone of our community”.

Director of Zed N Zed Jewelers, a family owned business located in Westfield Hurstville for the past 26 years designing and manufacturing fine jewellery, Mr Zreik has been associated with the NRL for the past 20 years as makers of the NRL grand final rings, drawing on Mr Zreik’s vast experience in small business he brings to Hurstville a wealth of experience and leadership required to meet the major challenges confronting the small business sector in the Hurstville area.

Mr Zreik said “the Chambers Executive Committee is dedicated to continuing to ensure increased parking, with meetings with council of a multi-storey car park somewhere in the CBD”, “the executive will also be asking Hurstville City Council about the CBD Masterplan, we want to know what’s happened to it and why it hasn’t been implemented”.

Mr Zreik also said that “we will be forming a strategy in the coming month to attract big business as well as government departments in Hurstville, a lot of Federal and State government money has been allocated for areas such as Liverpool, Parramatta and Penrith we want to see the same enthusiasm from Government for the Hurstville City”, “we will also ensure we close the bridge between the greater Hurstville business community and Council, through open and transparent dialogue”.
